Setting up your Clean Me washer account
Setting up your Clean Me washer account is a simple process. Check out our quick start guide below for more details.
1. Create Account
When you first install the App you will be asked to allow Clean Me to send you notifications. Please “Allow” this to ensure you are notified of key updates such as new orders and customer messages.
Proceed to “Create Account” and add your details.
Select to sign up as a “Vehicle Washer”.
Complete all mandatory fields.
We require all washers to have vehicle valeting insurance.
2. Set up your service profile
Go to the “Profile” tab and complete your “Service Profile”. This information is used for your business profile page on the app and is customer facing. We recommend including at least 3-4 high quality images of your work and a unique description about your business to increase customer consideration.
Service Address: This enables us to match customers to you based on the addresses you’ve both provided.
Service Radius: This influences which customers can book you based on how far away they are from your service address.
Service Days: Select all days you are available for bookings.
Service Time: Set your start and closing time. This ensures customers can only book you for services that will be completed within this time plus 1 hour for travelling between appointments. For example your service end time is 5pm. A customer wants to book a 2 hour service with you. The latest they can book you is 2pm to allow 2 hours for the service + 1 hour for you to travel to the next appointment/home.
3. Managing your order status
All customer orders are automatically accepted, however you do have the option to Reject an Order if necessary. You will receive a notification when an order has been received and can view all bookings in the “Orders” tab of the app. In each order you will see key booking details including the time booked, customer name, location and vehicle details.
Earnings: This section shows you the value of the booking. Clean Me takes a 5% commission of the service cost on all orders you receive. This is automatically deducted from the booking revenue and is displayed on the “Commission” line.
Update Status: You can view and manage your orders from the “Orders” tab. You must update the status of the order to “Order Start” when you begin the service. This can be updated from the booked time slot onwards. Once you have completed the service you should mark the status as “Order Completed”. This is necessary in order for payment to your wallet to be processed.
Contact Customer: Once a first booking has been made between a customer and a washer, they can communicate via our chat function. This could be helpful to update the customer on your arrival time.
4. Managing your wallet
Checking your wallet balance: Select the Profile tab and you will see your Wallet including balance and pending balance displayed at the top. Select “Wallet” to see more details including transaction history. Earnings from an order should appear instantly in your Wallet in the “Pending Balance”. After the Order Status is marked as “Completed” the payment will be processed within 3 to 5 working days and the funds will move to your “Current Balance”.
Withdrawing funds: In your wallet select “Withdraw”, then your preferred account and follow the prompts. You will need a minimum Current Balance of £1 to make a withdrawal and only whole pounds can be withdrawn. For example if you have a Current Balance of £100.50 you can withdraw £100. Payments take 3 to 5 working days to process.
