How To Get More Bookings On Clean Me
So you’ve joined Clean Me and you’re probably wondering how can I get more bookings on the app? Well, in this article that is exactly what we will dive into. We’ll cover the top trends we’ve seen from our customers on the app, what typically makes them more likely to book and how you can increase your chances of becoming a success on the app.
So without further ado, let’s get straight into the most important ways you can get more bookings from Clean Me!
Available In Two Days Or Less
Operators who are available in two days or less are far more likely to be booked than operators who aren’t. Better yet, the operators who are booked the most frequently on our platform are usually available the next day.
We have seen multiple instances of new operators joining the platform and being booked within a few days because they are available tomorrow or have same day availability.
Now, this is not to say that operators who are only available 3 days or more in advance never get booked. But we continuously see our most popular operators have 1-2 day notice periods and availability.
Providing Your Own Water & Electricity
Operators who provide their own resources, and are well priced, will always be picked over operators that don’t.
From a customers perspective, booking a mobile valeter who provides all of their own resources is much more convenient. There is minimal disturbance and if you’ve booked an exterior valet, you don’t even need to be present for the job.
This also opens you up for customers who don’t have their own water or electricity supply such as people who live in Apartments.
We recognise that some of our operators are just starting out and it may not be financially viable for them to provide their own resources yet. This perfectly fine and we want our platform to be open to up-and-coming mobile detailers. But the goal should be to provide your own resources as soon as possible. And at the very least, your own water supply.
Competitively Priced
Competitive pricing doesn’t mean cheap pricing. It simply means taking your local market and competitors into consideration when pricing your services.
For example, if you charge £120 for an exterior and interior valet, and your competition charges £60, you are highly likely to be priced out of the market and loose customers as a result.
If you are unsure how to price your services, you can see our article here which goes into detail on what customers (on average) are paying for services on our platform: https://www.cleanme.co.uk/blog/car-maintenance/what-are-mobile-car-valet-prices-in-the-uk/
Professional Profile
First impressions are everything. And your profile gives your first impressions to customers, displaying who you are, what kind of cars you’ve worked on and what makes you an expert in your field.
Common mistakes we’ve seen operators making with their profiles is uploading selfies as their profile picture, not adding any images in their gallery or having a very minimal description. When you edit your profile, make sure that you include:
- A professional profile picture of yourself or your team. This is much more effective than just your logo, as customers will know exactly who is coming to clean their car. We recommend having a profile picture of you while working (like Noir Mobile Detailing) or you smiling for the camera in your work clothes.
- A detailed description. Tell potential customers why you do what you do and why you are the best option for them.
- High quality gallery images. Include at least 3 images in your gallery of previous cars that you have brought back to life.
Other Factors
- How far you’re willing to travel also matters. We recommend setting a maximum travel distance of at least 20 miles.
- Reviews from previous bookings help massively. Customers who read the reviews of an operator are 7 times more likely to book!
- Quick responses to users messages. Responses within an hour are generally considered fast and will help you to close your lead.
